Last sunday my classmate Rosela celebrated a thanks giving party for passing the NLE, it was held in La Vista del Mar..so I brought my camera like I always do and after taking some few shots with all my classmates,.I thought about shooting Janice as ...a model haha..she didn't like it at first coz it was so hot and she did not like her top too. But its not like its going to be a real photoshoot,. it was more like a trial shot to me..more like (lets see what will come out after shooting)... so there we did some "lasang" post and tried my best to come up something worth it. haha.. im very amateur hehe.. thanx to Reineer for holding the flash and to Mark for standing along.. Thanx to Janice for giving me the chance to take some photos..(we will do this again just for fun okay? be prepared hahaha)

But since I'm done with school and not planning on anything yet..then maybe I will have the time for this photoblog. Anyway i hope you will find this image nice. This was taken at cawa-cawa.. I did not do anything much for this picture i took this shot inside the vehicle i did not change any color but I did some little adjustments on the red color and yellow just to blend a little... but it really looks the same as the original just a little different.

This is another boring moment. I woke up turned my Laptop on, open some photos then try to create something.. this was done with two photos. but with many layers, I did some cropping and I also erased some parts of the pictures..if you look at the edges of my jacket it appears to be transparent and even some parts of my hair.. well i can always say its an effect.. hahaha..

Project one

This photo was already posted in my previous photoblog (E for Enriquez)..Its the same photo but with different effect.. this image was actually inspired by a photographer/artists PARC Cruz, Check his site or just google his name he has a lots of amazing photos. Well I dont know if I got the editing correct... if you notice the lens flare? I asked on one of my contact in Flickr how to get that effect and just to find out it was so easy.. thanx to MIKE&MUGS @ FLICKr..

Manang Lola

This is Lola or Manang, it depends on how old you look at her or think she is. This was taken during our trip to Sto.Nino Cebu city. I have another picture of her smoking tobacco which could have been better and would have more impact if only I was able to focus right the image right. Anyway i will try to fix that image if i can. But for this image it was just taken with my kit lens and with P mode while the rest is enhanced and processed in photoshop.. the texture the color the blur the sharpening etc...this is my attempt on street photography. haha..

My Sweet Unvalentine.

This is me trying to come up with something. I thought about taking long exposure shots in a dark room while playing with a flash light. Its not easy because i had to turn the lights off after setting the camera and turn it back on after the shot. I did a few shots but some didn't turn out good hehe.. This shot came out a little better than the others. So I did some "Photoshoping" with this image to make it at least "okay" not nice but okay.

Music is Art

This is my brother. I took this shot while he was playing the guitar and singing. The light is coming from the window. This was taken in the afternoon. I like the color that came out after blending a sepia copy of the same picture with the original. Doing that gave a different feeling to the portrait and it also added the drama effect I'm looking... coz I always tell this to myself ..a great photograph are the ones that has a story and a touch of reality which is most of the time "dramatic"

Was bored tonight.. so I opened some photos played with it hehe.. Im not the one who took this shot not even the portrait which i blended to add a little effect. I changed some of the yellows and added more orange colors.. even the lights reflecting on some clouds were just placed using layers coz in the original photo it was not there..here are the original images. Enjoy.

Pasonanca River

This Photograph was taken last year 2008. This shot was taken handheld and most likely with the A mode for the setting, I think A stands for aperture.. whatever that means.. they say its the F-stop and yah whatever that is. haha.. I like photography but right now I only know so little things about photography, maybe the basics but not quite well, maybe the do's and don't's but often forget them, maybe the rules but can't memorize them either. That is why im doing things my way with a little fundamentals on it.

I did some experiments on this photo, I tried my best to make this photo look interesting not only to myself but also the viewers, well most of my viewers are my friends..thanx to mar coz she's the one who suggested that I should post this photograph. I trust her taste, so thanx again.

For those who are experts I know the effects done in this photo are not smooth enough. hehe This is actually my own experiment on how to make the water mist.. or make it look like its actually moving. thanx ang enjoy.

there is nothing special about this photo.. i just took this shot coz i was so amaze that they still have this drink in Larsian Cebu city..I dont know if the coca cola company still has this in other places..I really wanted to take one home just to show my folks, but i took this photo instead.

I'm not the one who took this shot but it was I who directed hahaha.. i did the post process, i did some hue/saturation adjustments and some brightness/contrast adjustments..blurred the background.. this was taken during our "island hoping trip" in cebu city... the slogan "its the real thing" is just an emphasis that the subject of this photo is the bottle of coke.

This picture is a self portrait taken last may 2008. I tried to post process this a lot of times and i just could not get the right mood.. i think this is the closest to what was in my mind.. i wanted this pic to look much warmer and i also wanted to play with the shadows and lights.. well i hope this ain't bad at all... comments and advices are very much welcome.

this is my attempt on HDR ..i used 4 different exposures..i know it doesn't look like a good HDR photo.. haha..nevermind..I was just bored this afternoon and this picture came out to be the result of boredom.. next time around I will spend more time adjusting the tones..
